Resistance 3 Summary

Take up arms with the remaining human survivors as you fight against the Chimeran race in Resistance 3. The game is set in an alternate 1950s universe, where America has been conquered and destroyed by the deadly Chimeran race. You will take on the role of Joseph Capelli, one of the last surviving Sentinel from a clandestine military program. Capelli comes out of hiding to journey across a land of ruin in a fight for the survival of the human race against the Chimera. Resistance 3 will also offer two-player online or split-screen co-op play through the single-player campaign. There will also be a World War multiplayer mode that will pit humans against the Chimera in a team-deathmatch-type scenario. Resistance 3 will offer you a unique set of weapons constructed with human and alien technology.
