This game is as original as it gets. You've basically just gotta help elephants do simple tasks, but the trick is getting them from point A to point B may be more challenging than it looks. You're given construction pieces to help you get the elephants across weak bridges giant drop offs and other obstacles.
Graphics = Very simple, but they still look good. the backgrounds are all nice too.
Controls = Very basic and easy to learn.
Playability = Depending on your puzzle solving ability. Its basically trial and error, If your bridge fails you've got to figure out what you've done wrong.
Replay value = once you've figured out what to do, going back through and beating your original time is fun.
Fun factor = I enjoy it alot, its different than all the other run of the mill games out right now. Its pretty satisfying to complete a stage thats complex.
Overall Value = $5 is a steal, Its not incredibly long, But it is fun while it lasts and you'd pay more than that just to rent a game from somewhere.

Summary
Visually this game is superb for what it is. This game can suck you in quite easily with always the temptation to try just one more time to get it completely right or to finish the level with just one or two less girders.
Although the premise is simple and you have no control over the elephants themselves there is huge control over weather they make it to the goal at all. That being said this game is not a walk in the park either it takes a little bit of trial and error at time (although engineers may find this game a breeze, or not depending on the limits imposed).
And admittedly sometimes, when there is always a temptation to strengthen one side of the bridge then allow the Elephant to plunge to its doom (a nod to the sadism in all of us), but it is kid friendly too with the elephants ballooning out of trouble and them starting the next attempt covered in bandages (a nod to cartoons, of course).
This is easily one of the best new games available on the PSN. I highly recommend this for the casual and hardcore game alike (although more for the former).
Truly amazing game, if you have a short attention span like me then be prepared to stay focused you just cant help it !!

Elefunk is one of the most unique titles I have ever played. Please bring out an expansion. Its fun, very rewarding and for the engineer in you absolutely perfect. You sit on the edge of your seat as those elephants start crossing your rickety effort of a bridge. Don't give up and think logically and eventually you will crack it. A must for £4.99.
Why is this such a good game? Take some old classics add a great physics engine from the PS3 and of course high defination, jumble it a little with some funky moves. Here in lies Elefunk.
This game suits slighty engineered chellenged adults and very inteligent kids of probably 4 upward. In short its simple, build a bridge that can hold a weighty elephant that has some circus stunts up its sleeve. Make sure you think quick though because those elephants dont like to be kept waiting. The longer you take the less points you acrew. Bonuses are awarded for fast times and effecient use of parts.
There are 3 main part types wood/ girders/ wire. On each set of levels you will have to use one of these or a combination of all 3. It most cases you can save a piece or two however there are levels where you must use the complete compliment of parts.
One level has you bridging 3 expanses, not that simple though because there were 4 elephants each needing their own bridge one below the other. The catch? Not enough pieces to build 12 seperate bridges. So a little crafty use of wire and wood sees you building the strongest suspension bridge known to man.
Every single level I felt had resonably high difficulty with some taking nearly 40 mins to work out how to do it. However over time you learn the tricks of the trade and on the odd occasion (the suspension bridge that actually looked like one) you will get it right first time.
Dont get too cocky because when you hit the fair ground the 3rd or 4th level simply grinds you to a hault. All you have is wire and walkways and not enough positions to fix it. 3 Elephants all traveling opposite directions across huge expanses.
I look forward to mastering it. Enjoy you wont be dis-appointed.
It's kind of a Lemmings style game, except you build the environment, not travel through one...

Grab a bag of peanuts and get funky! This is a fun, simple game with a simple idea: Build a structure to get an elephant from one side to another. It's kind of a Lemmings style game, except you build the environment, not travel through one. It does require some thinking and strategy, however the gameplay is very relaxing, this is NOT a "heart pounding" game...and I think that's why I really enjoy it. The graphics are clean and the audio is not annoying at all. You can play it with your spouse or kids and they'll have fun too.
There is a neat Multiplayer game (local or online) that is like "Jenga" style...you each remove one piece of a structure at a time and try not to make the structure (and elephants) collapse. It's fun online or with a friend on your sofa...and it makes a great drinking game! I gave it a "7", and for $ 5-10, I think it is worth the buy.

I just wasted $5 on a game that's impossible to launch.

I spent $5 on the "Full Game Unlock", since the game requires the demo to play. Too bad you can't **** download the demo anymore, so I just wasted $5.
