This addictive and immersive tennis game for the psp is a must have, whether you are a tennis fan or not. Many aspects come together perfectly to make this game so fun and addicting. Hot Shots Tennis: Get a Grip includes an almost endless array of unlockables ranging from anything as peculiar as a tiger suit, to anything as sophisticated as a pinstriped business suit, with many accessories and rackets to go along with your kooky character customizations. The gameplay is truly incredible, with crisp flat serves, wild slices, and hard-hitting smash aces to keep your opponent guessing. Summary

Well NFS Shift is an iPhone or iTouch racing sim, and delivers quite a punch.

There is really no story, you just start out as an amateur racer, and you have a little coach dude who comes up every time you unlock a new area.
The main controls are very simple.
It accelerates automatically.
You tilt to turn.
You touch to brake.
That's essentially it, though you can also change the camera view, and use nitrous by taping their own separate buttons.

Shift has 4 camera modes.

* Behind
* Cockpit
* Hood
* Bumper
This game really excels at cockpit view. It is easy to see around in, easy to control your car, and is welcoming in the beginning of the game, unlike some games that thrust you into a crappy cockpit that's hard to control. This is the best cockpit view in any game I've played.

The music is really great. They picked the best soundtrack possible. Of course, it also lets you listen to your own music, too.

The visuals are really, just great, some of the best on the iPod. Everything's shiny, car models aren't 'slapped sticker-looking', The headlights actually have profile, and the window shield really does crack, and the tires really spin.

There are only 20 cars in the game, and that may sound a bit disappointing at first, but what a car selection it is. From an Audi R8, to a Lamborghini Gallardo, to a BMW M3, to a Shelby Cobra Mustang, they have it all. Though, I do wish they had the 09 Camaro instead of the 09 Challenger.

This game is really easy at first, but later gets harder. Don't think that you'll never sell your 'totally beefed out', 'customized', '13,000 bucks spent on paintwork' Shelby Mustang that you love so dearly. You'll probably have to sell it to buy at least the worst car in the next tier.

Well, that's my review, hope I nailed everything right.

An amazing iPhone game, you'll love it from the beginning.

Summary

Well, Need for Speed Shift is, in my opinion (and I'm sure in many others) the best racing game for the iPhone. It has controls that are easy to master, such as touching anywhere to brake and automatic acceleration. You may think accelerating automatically makes it too easy, but it gets pretty hard. You don't have to deal with sweating all over your iPhone while holding the gas pedal, also ;). Drifting can be quite hard to master, but once you get the hang of it, you will be drifting everywhere.

The graphics are quite beautiful, but may not be the best. If you are very picky about graphics, you might not be very turned on by this game. However, once you get into the game, you will keep playing and playing. You can change the camera view, too, which can cater to all of your racing needs.

All in all, this is one of the best iPhone games. With great controls and stellar gameplay, this will become an instant "go to" game for your iPhone.

A great console racer makes a surprisingly good entry on the iPhone.

Summary

Every year, Need for Speed comes out with a new addition to the series. This year it was Shift. EA surprised all of us with Need for Speed Undercover, in the sense that the iPhone version was a lot better than the console versions.
Now I can't say that Need for Speed Shift on the iPhone is better than the console versions, due to the fact I've only played the Demo. But what I can say is that EA delivered a solid racing game that I enjoyed much more than Need for Speed Undercover.

Pros.
- Excellent Graphics
- Great Car Models
- Tilt controls are much more improved and smooth
- The perfect mix of arcade and simulation racing.

Cons.
- Car upgrades are required to even compete with other racers only a few races into the game
- Uneven difficulty
- Drift races suck
- Confusing Menus

Story: N/A

Sound: 8/10
Cars sound okay, nothing awesome or groundbreaking here though.

Graphics: 10/10
When it comes to the iPhone, this is absolutely top-notch. Everything is nicely detailed and just a joy to look at.

Presentation: 6/10
The menus look good, but they are pretty confusing to navigate, and they really shouldn't be this hard.

Difficulty: 6/10
Gets too tough sometimes. Cars need to be upgraded in order to even compete, which takes away the cash to get new cars.

Controls: 9/10
Great controls, a joy stick option would of been highly appreciated, but tilting works very well.

Gameplay: 9/10
Its just race after race, but its fun. If you can get over the difficulty then its a lot better.

"Fun" Factor: 8/10
Its pretty fun, its a good mix between arcade and simulation racing. But overall does deliver what you would expect.

Should I get it?
$7 is a lot to ask for. So if you really like racing games then yes. But if you only kinda like them, then wait for a price drop.

need for speed shift great game

Superb

Summary

need for speed shift is a fun and adictive game all about racing you get to race in variety of locations including london and tokyo with seven levels in each location
that you get to drift race and do time trials and they have whole bunch of different cars and few customizations i dont want to say to much because it will ruin the allure of playing the game but i recomend you get this game its fun immersive and adictive and seven dollors for a game that feels like it belong to a console i would say this game is worth it

but lets talk about the cons if you answer a call the game does not pause the accelerometer sometime wont let you turn when you want it
it waists battery like a maniac so be plugged in when using it
the wireless chalenges are sometimes difficult to setup
and it does not realy have a story to follow it is just racing whell i guess for seven dollors you get what you pay for
